About Horses Care

Horses Care is a 501(c)(3) public charity located in Acton, California. We are an organization that desires to help all horses in need. Horses are rescued from any type of environment whether it be neglect, abuse, or simply the lack of time or interest of its owner. If you have questions, or have a horse in need of rescue, please contact us.

Horses 4 Healing

Many of the horses we rescue are used for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in the Horses 4 Healing program. Horses 4 Healing joins horse with human in order to facilitate an engaging relational atmosphere which promotes healing and growth. The goal is to help people achieve the highest sense of well being in all aspects of their life through experiential learning, as well as allowing horses to live out their lives in an honorable and enjoyable way.
